Daily journal January 25, 2001, Leaving for New York Outsider Art Fair Via Lehigh Pa.

It is a beautiful morning as I drive to Greensboro and on to Baltimore to spend the night at the lovely Gramercy Bed and Breakfast right near the Mason-Dixon line. The great marvelous English Tutor House and grounds grow organic vegetables that are sold in supermarkets and we share a lot in common with our mutual interest and I love it.  On the way out of town I stopped by the Winn Dixie store and found fresh strawberries from Plant City Florida had just arrived at 99 cent per tray, having that smell.  I brought along enough to give away and to pay for my stay, this I say just to make this sentence rime.  Driving among the crazy people who are too fast or too slow and cut in front of you as though they were going to mow you down on all the roads.  We need better training for drivers on the go and more compatible vehicles to make it safer to compete out there.  As I turned off 695 bypass of Baltimore on the North side, I noticed heavy banks of white snow and now with only 2 miles to go, I am thankful that I have made it off the raceway.  The awful lights that’s on the GM's Saturn that blind, shooting their bright lights by day and give me a headache should be banned.  I took the back way out of town on old 29 to miss the site of our grandstand on I-85 where they took our land and our building of 100 thousand feet with world traffic we did meet. It breaks my heart to see what used to be me.  It is hard to use the public bath rooms, what a mess, some people can miss the bowl so far, I'm facing a strong cold wind.  They have announced on publicradio that there are three new treatments for MS.  I somehow feel that this same thing will work well for me.  It is always time to pray especially in the danger of today as the drive to the North East where I meet the beast for danger lurks every minute from here to that Great Big City.  Dear Lord, save me and protect me as I travel and make me worthy to know Thee better.  Psalms 23-1 "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. 2-He maketh me a lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters, 3-He restoreth my soul; he leads me in the path to righteousness for His name's sake. 4-Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me and Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me. 5-Thou prepareth a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointeth my head will oil; my cup runneth over". Bible holds the power of God.  President Taft who traded us off 100 years ago was shown on TV with his Masonic pin pinned onto his lapel brightly shining to send a clear message to all his secret buddies in the lodge to vote for him.  He turned our constitutional government over to the Supreme Court.  Our Godless schools are now relegated to be babysitters.  Thank God my brake problem has gone away on my car at least for now. The simple things comfort me while  I travel and nothing is more important to me than a dental floss, quetips, toothbrush, non fluoride toothpaste, Vaseline to keep my lips moist and a buttonhole device to dress and undress.  Nothing is more important than to keep my blood sugar level constant to feel good without refined sugar and to have a clean bathroom facility to use. They would have us to believe that our food supply is safe.  People need to learn to talk at a comfort level and not shout in restaurants and put muscle in their speaking so as not to drop out words.  Education is a state responsibility or county or city or church but not the federal.  Subway have been advertising that their sandwiches cause weight loss but I think they are awful, cold meat I cannot stand.  Big Texas 7 prison escapees are back and they sure have a complaint about the prison system coming back to haunt the master executor.  Lessons in the movie entitled ‘Hangman also hang’ about the underground in a war time Germany.
